I recently just had a meal here and ordered the chicken lomein. She came back with some sweet and sour dish and I said “oh I ordered the chicken lomein.” She came back with the food and said that I was wrong and that I ordered the sweet and sour dish. She deliberately told me I was wrong and that she was right. Never coming back and do not recommend. Completely unprofessional and rude. Maybe she should write down the order instead of taking her mistakes out on customers.

I don't get the one star reviews or the five star reviews (timing is everything, I guess.)New Canton is a solid three stars. True, it is located in a miniscule strip mall in Wheat Ridge. Honestly, the only thing that brought us here was Discount Tire (about 100 feet away) and it was lunch time. We walked in and the waitresses were running around - too busy to come and (1) greet us or (2) seat us. It was awkward. Some old lady glared at us the entire time. So we just stood there for a couple minutes until one led us to a table that had been open the entire time, as all the booths were full.Who knew this place was so popular for lunch? The parking lot was full and the restaurant was full of buffet regulars. Everyone was a buffet customer; I didn't see anyone order a regular entree off the menu the entire time I was there. The buffet bar was okay; it was a little better than I anticipated (and I wasn't anticipating much.) The soups and main dishes are fine. I found a couple of shrimp in one dish and they had both wontons and dumplings plus a mystery Cantonese meat "tamale" wrapped in foil. The salad fixings and dessert left something to be desired as there were only one or two choices. It looked like they cut store bought frozen cream puffs and squirted more filling in them. No thanks.Buffet lunch for two was $16.50 (buffet price is not posted anywhere or on the menu - not that they ever gave us a menu) without tax. New Canton restaurant must be doing something right to compete with Panda King down the street.Next to the Polish Pottery place.

Given that New Canton is an all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet in a strip mall, I wasn't walking in expecting a world culinary masterpieces. Unfortunately, my low hopes were not met.New Canton starts is buffet on the dessert side. Perhaps that's to suggest that you get your meal over with quickly, because whatever oil they used to fry almost everything on the buffet had been in their deep fryer long enough for Exxon to start exploring it. You know that taste of really bad, old, deep fryer oil, where everything has that same musty taste? That's the taste that is New Canton.Insofar as New Canton Restaurant has repeat customers, the people of Wheat Ridge have bad taste.

in a pleasant family-oriented atmosphere. The menu offers around 100 different choices. There is also an excellent lunch buffet that runs from noon until 2:30pm. In my opinion, this restaurant is the best in the area. ...?

I haven't actually been into the place and thus cannot tell you anything about ambiance, but I have had large orders delivered to our house from this place. Most of their food is really pretty good. None of the "hot" food is more than medium in temperature. They use too much American filler like bell peppers and celery for my taste, but all that said, they are really quite good. They have a nice diversity of choices. The General Tao's chicken is tender and not overcooked like it is many places. The scallops were not overcooked. The veggies in everything but a garlic shrimp dish were not overcooked to the point of being limp. The flavors were good and the delivery time was very good even with a very large order. Their prices are in the 7-10 range for dinner meals, and for that price, I feel like it was very good food with a large diversity of choices like scallops and duck to go with the usual chicken, beef and pork.?

hear the delivery driver yelling in the kitchen. But, the wonderful food that was served to us made it worth the arguing. It has been along time waiting for a Chinese restaurant that you can heat up the left over's and it actually tastes just as good as the day before. ...?
