Is this place even still open? Every time I call to place an order no one picks up and the website says they are open.

I used to love Jo Jo Place... the hours make it a challenge to order and remember when they are open. The food is good though be careful with the spare ribs sometimes the bbq sauce is heavy on sugar so much that it is crystallized and sticks to your teeth. Overall not a bad place just it's hours prevent me from ordering there because I only seem to want it when they are closed.

One of my favorite chinese delivery places in Philly. The Udon noodle soup is the best when you're sick. But the main problem (and it's a biggie) is the unpredictable hours. I called at 7:00 on a tuesday night and they were closed. WTF?

I enjoyed the food I got at this place just fine, but I did make the mistake of eating in rather than just taking it to go. Totally weird ambiance. Like a church basement rec room or something. Also a lot of waiting around hoping someone will appear out of the back so you can do things like place an order or get a to-go box for your leftovers. I'll eat their food again no problem, but next time I'm calling ahead for take-out.

I love JoJo - order from them all the time. Awesome chicken and broccoli. BUT ordered on their website and hour and a half ago and no delivery - and no one in the restaurant is answering the phone. Totally unacceptable, especially on a Saturday night. No more JoJo for me.

Based on the fairly good Yelp reviews, I ordered delivery from this place. The only good thing about this place is the garlic chicken wings, as they were crispy and flavorful. As for the not-so-good: the mango crispy chicken was just okay -- nothing special here. The Singapore Mei Fun was also a disappointment: flavorless and unmemorable. And lastly, the hot and sour soup was just awful! Not only was it bland (and a tad sweet? definitely not spicy nor sour), the consistency was goo-ey and oily. There were cabbage root bits floating in it as well...yuck.You can tell a lot about a Chinese restaurant by its hot and sour soup...I won't be ordering from this place again.
