The staff is very efficient and friendly ! this is a pretty intelligent buffet; there are the standard options like spare ribs and chicken nuggets for the people who have no real interest in a Chinese buffet, but there are also some fairly traditional Chinese dishes that will surprise even the most discriminant. What you end up having is a pretty good distribution of Chinese food. This buffet also has a very nice selection of fresh fruits and melon & the best sushi bar in DE/MD Area. i hope they will have new Chinese dishes....!!!!

I really do not understand why this buffet has received such high ratings and great reviews. It is okay, but when compared to to the other two Chinese Buffets in Dover it falls short. The best I believe is the Old Town Buffet in the Rodney Village Shopping Center. The other buffet is King Buffet, which beats Chinatown in selection. Chinatown Buffet does not have enough selection of foods, I do not know what everyone else is talking about on the reviews here. Also, I found some of the foods to contain unedible parts, like huge pieces of fat, over cooked and too hard, etc. Also, it is very tight in there, and the food bars are badly situated so that you constantly have to squeeze past people to get to the food. I was disapointed by this after hearing such rave reviews, the food was okay but not as good as they said it would be. I would recommend going to Old Town Buffet, much neater, better food, more selection, and even cheaper!?
